This poor academic performance partly explains why people with ADHD have lower paying jobs, and therefore lower socioeconomic status.<\/p>\n<p>These poorer academic results are probably due to the fact that people with ADHD have difficulty organizing and managing time, and planning academic tasks, and are easily distracted.<\/p>\n<p>As the majority of studies have been conducted in the United States, it is difficult to extrapolate the results to countries with other education systems.<\/p>\n[\/et_pb_toggle][\/et_pb_column_inner][\/et_pb_row_inner][\/et_pb_column][\/et_pb_section][et_pb_section fb_built=&#8221;1&#8243;
